A lot of people, who are not well familiar with hypnotic mind control, think that just using the word “imagine” will work wonders. The truth is that you have to work a little bit harder to get the full effect of imagination.
One of the best tips I can give you is to be descriptive. Tell the person you want to hypnotize what he does, sees and feels.
Let’s say that you are trying to persuade the manager to approve your project. You can readily say, “What if as you are reading my presentation, you are discovering productive ideas. You see how effectively you can implement them in the work process and at the end of the day you are making greater profits.”
Use the words that the subject uses. This is one of the most important tips to remember and use, when practicing hypnotic mind control.
This is particularly important because as you use the subject’s words, in his mind, he feels as if he is speaking to himself. This is the key to becoming more influential.
For instance, if you are trying to influence an engineer, you might prefer to use the word “think”, rather than the word “imagine”.
Similarly, if you are trying to exercise hypnotic mind control on someone who is fond of cooking, you can readily use food and cooking metaphors to trigger the person’s imagination.
Given the above example with the manager, you can readily say, “Reading my project, you will see that something big is cooking.”
