A lot of novice practitioners get stuck, when the person they are trying to influence poses conditions in order to do what they want. The good news is that there is a way out of this situation.

You simply need to use one of the effective mind control techniques to make the person commit to doing what you want. This technique uses one main pattern “let’s pretend”. This pattern is similar to the trance ones and works in much the same way.

What you have to do is make the person see the picture after you have done what he wants from you. Then you have to ask him what he will do at this point.

Here is an example of the use of this one of the mind control techniques. Let’s say that you are trying to sell a product, but the prospect customer wants a preliminary estimate of the cost of using the product.

You can say to him, “I see what you mean. Let’s pretend for a moment that I have provided you with an estimate of the costs of using the product and you are certain that it is cost-effective. What happens next?”

Notice how you are making him imagine that you have given him what he wants. You are also using the opportunity to highlight one benefit of the product, its cost-efficiency. More importantly, you are making the person commit to buying the product.

In this example, the person has placed only one condition, but you can use this technique with any number of conditions. It is essential for you to make the person imagine that you have met all of them, so that you get him to make commitment.
