Of course, you also need to know well what it holds, how it works and how it influences our decisions and actions. This is the basis that you need to build upon with the use of the following method.

Repetition is a technique, which is widely used in traditional hypnosis. If you have looked at a hypnotic script, you would have seen how many repetitions the hypnotist has to make. You can readily use this technique with covert hypnosis to influence someone’s subconscious mind more effectively.

This simple technique has different applications in covert hypnosis. You can readily use it to pace and lead. For instance, you can say, “You are sitting on a chair. You are sitting on a chair and looking out the window. You are sitting on a chair, looking out the window and feeling perfectly relaxed.”

This repetition is really powerful because it allows you to get the person into a deeper trance. In turn, your pacing and leading will be more effective.

The important thing is to make the repetitions sound natural, using the right tone of voice. It has to be flat and lacking emotion. Try to speak quietly as well.

Another way in which you can use repetition to influence the subconscious mind is to highlight the benefits the person will get from doing what you want. The technique is similar to pacing and leading, so it should not be difficult for you to apply.

You can readily say, “The more relaxed you feel, the more focused you will become. The more focused you are the more productive you will be at work. The more productive at work you are, the more successful you will be.”

This pattern allows the person to see all the benefits and to actually experience them.

Now you know how to influence the subconscious mind in yet another way. Keep learning more with my article Subconscious Mind – How to Influence It.
