A lot of people like to think about the power mind as a machine. They like to portray it as a sophisticated computer that has a lot of capabilities that we have not discovered yet.
However, this picture is not quite precise. This brilliant tool is highly susceptible to emotional influences. Just think about it.
When you are upset or happy, you have a lot of thoughts running in your mind. In fact, you are more likely to make important decisions, when you are in an emotional state.
You can use all these factors to exercise mind control. What you have to do is to get the person into the emotional state, in which he is most likely to be influenced.
For instance, you can readily rely on excitement to make someone do what you want. Provided that you can create a sense of enthusiasm, you can readily influence the power mind of the person to direct him into doing what you want.
The logical question here is how to create a sense of enthusiasm. You can readily make the person excited about the idea by presenting all its benefits. It is important for you to put the main focus on the benefits the person is going to get individually.
It is equally important to focus on the emotional benefits. For instance, you can readily use a line like, “Imagine how great you will feel when you do this.”
Another equally effective approach is to make the person excited about his abilities to do what you want. You can readily present the thing you want him to do as a challenge that he is capable of overcoming.
